Allied Chemical and Dye
Allied Chemical and Dye is an AWE facility from 1950s to 1977 so workers are eligible to file for Part B claims.
Allied Chemical and Dye Company was involved in research and development and small pilot-scale operations on uranium recovery from a phosphoric acid plant. Former AEC employees estimated that, at most, only a few pounds of uranium concentrate were produced.
During the period of residual contamination, as designated by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health and as noted in the dates above, employees of subsequent owners and operators of this facility are also covered under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act.
