Hanger 481 is a DOE facility for March 1, 1984 to February 29, 1996 so workers are eligible to file both Part B and Part E claims.

The Department of Energy contracted with Ross Aviation, Inc. to manage and operate Hangar 481 on the premises of the Kirtland Air Force Base for the convenience of the adjacent Sandia National Laboratory.

    NIOSH provides dose reconstruction statistics for Hanger 481.  NIOSH has information about Hanger 481. The NIOSH Advisory Board has recommended not to establish a Special Exposure Cohort for Hanger 481.
