Bluewater Uranium Mill

Bluewater Uranium Mill Site is located in McKinley County, New Mexico and is not currently covered as a DOE site under EEOICPA but is covered under RECA 5 (Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).  Workers who have been awarded under RECA 5 at the Bluewater Uranium Mill are eligible to file a Part E EEOICPA claim.

The September 1982, History of Domestic Uranium Procurement under US AEC Contracts, Final Report, pages A-52 to A-54 extensively describes the work done at Climax Uranium Mill.
