 Picatinny Arsenal, Dover New Jersey-Deleted

Naval ResearchPicatinny Arsenal

Picatinny Arsenal was an AWE covered facility for 1947-1948 but has been deleted from EEOICPA coverage.

The Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, New Jersey performed studies on methods of radiographing uranium castings in the late 1940s using uranium billets supplied by the Atomic Energy Commission. Picatinny's work from 1948 to the mid-1950s on non-nuclear components of nuclear weapons, such as fuses, detonators, firing sets, and generators, is not covered under EEOICPA.

DOL

DOL removed Picatinny Arsenal from EEOICPA coverage in 2007.
