Uravan Uranium Mill

Uravan Uranium Mill Site is located in Montrose County, Colorado and is not currently covered as a DOE site under EEOICPA but is covered under RECA 5 (Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).  Workers who have been awarded under RECA 5 at the Uravan Uranium Mill are eligible to file a Part E EEOICPA claim.

The September 1982, History of Domestic Uranium Procurement under US AEC Contracts, Final Report, pages A-38 to A-42 extensively describes the work done at Climax Uranium Mill.
